Britta has been part of the Pocket-lint team for five years, starting as a contributing editor before working her way up into the features editor chair. You’ll often see her name on some of our biggest features, including many of the versus articles and the rumour round ups, but she is also responsible for ensuring all the other great features from other members of the team cover off everything you might want to know about. Previous to joining the tech industry, Britta worked within interior magazines, covering the smart home and smart appliances before many knew what they were or what they entailed. Throughout her journalist career, Britta has travelled the world in search of a good story, while her dedication to delivering thorough reviews has seen her climb three mountains in 24 hours to test the accuracy of the 10 fitness trackers she was wearing. Britta has a first class honours degree in Fashion Journalism from London College of Fashion, during which she gained experience from both GQ and the Daily Telegraph, while also learning the importance of good design whether that be clothing or a smartwatch. Her free time is mostly taken up by her baby daughter these days, but she absolutely adores travelling, food and great shoes. You’ll never find her without her rose gold Fitbit on, desperately seeking 12,000 steps a day so she can justify the extra bar of chocolate.
